I also think that the range of places that we sell our product is too small. This causes a problem to our customer. They have to go to particular shop to get the product which is not convenience. Chong-About the way of promotion, we can make the advertisement through more method like television advertisement, newspaper and flyers. By these, more people will be aware of our product. Gan-But I believe that, people nowadays spend most of their time sitting in front of the computer surfing internet. I think that we can use this opportunity to do more advertisement on the internet website such as Facebook, Yahoo or even Google. Tan -I think that is a good idea. I recently found that more and more business does their advertisement on the public transport. This is an interesting way of advertisement. Maybe we should try it too. What do you think about this, Wendy? Wendy-Yes, it is a very good way to advertise our product because public transports have the mobility so it will be just like a moving flyer. More and more people will get to know our product as it travel to different places. Tan-Thanks Wendy. So let’s move forward to the next topic. Where do you think we can sell our product at so that people will feel more convenience to buy it? Chong-In my opinion, we should sell our product in supermarkets like Giant and Jusco. Nowadays most of the people like to buy their daily necessities at supermarket because at the supermarket, people can find various types of brands and product easily. Gan-I agree with Chong’s opinion. It is very important to sell our product in places where people go the most. By the way, we should also sell our product in mini market and convenience to allow people buy our product in different place but not only at the supermarket. Chong-That is a nice idea too. That would solve the problem of place. Do we have any other more factors which affect the sale of our product? Wendy-I think there are some problems on our product packaging. Through the interview, we find out that people claims that the size of the product is too big and there is only one size available which is 900ml. They wish to have smaller size of the product so they can try out our product without worries. Tan-There is also people who complained that there is only one fragrance available for this brand. They wish there is more choice for them. Gan-I think we should produce Natural in different sizes like 500ml, 900ml and 1200ml. Small size of Natural will also allow people to easily put it in their luggage while traveling. We should also release a refill pack for people to refill it. Wendy-About the fragrance I think we can add more fragrance like milk, mints, green tea, roses and lavender. By this people can have more choice while buying our product. Chong-These would be a great idea. This will attract more people’s attention towards our product and increase the total sale of Natural. Tan-What about the price of the product? Through the interview, most of the people claims that Natural is too expensive. Investigations show that the normal price for shower gel is about RM10. RM20 for 900ml size is too expensive. Wendy-Maybe we can reduce the price to RM15. As for 500ml and 1200ml, I think the price should be RM8 and RM18 respectively. Chong-That’s great! It will be reasonable enough for people to buy our product. Tan-So in conclusion, we should do more advertising on the media, internet and public transport. Other than that, we should increase the range of places we put our product at. Third, we should also increase the choice of sizes we have in order to fulfill our customer needs.
